What is a matching gift?

Matching gifts are a type of corporate giving program. If you work at a company with a matching gift program ALS of Nevada can benefit from not only your contribution, but also a gift of greater or equal value from your employer. Your company's matching gift program effectively doubles the impact of your generosity.

ALS of Nevada has received matching gifts from companies like Microsoft, Disney and Wynn to name a few. Note: some companies even match contributions made by retires and spouses as well.

Check with your company to learn more! To expedite your matching gift, please submit our tax ID number, 20-1531344, to your employer, and notify us about the gift at info@alsofnevada.org.

If your company doesn't have a matching gift program, perhaps they would be interested in starting one. Please let us know how we can support you in that effort.
